Premier Inn or Novotel offer reasonably priced accommodation within walking distance of Light House and Wolverhampton rail station. 

Evening meal and Comedy Show

Delegates can opt to attend the evening dinner and Comedy Show with local Black Country comedy acts from 19.45pm on Thursday 14th June, in The Court Yard of Light House. Tickets are £20 (+VAT) each, and can be booked when purchasing tickets. This will include a curry, drinks and entertainment. 


Light House is the Black Country’s only independent cinema, plus galleries and a cafe bar, set within the Victorian Architecture of The Chubb Buildings.

Light House is a charity and arts venue which aims to increase the enjoyment and understanding of technologically-based media, in particular film, video, photography and creative media, and to emphasise their importance to the cultural, social and economic life of Wolverhampton, the West Midlands and further afield. People, Place, Power will also make use of The Slade Rooms (opposite Light House) for talks, workshops and the Unconference space.


All spaces are wheelchair accessible and in Light House both cinema auditoria are fitted with deaf induction loops. Guide dogs are welcome in both venues. 

Disabled parking can be found in Broad Street car park, Railway Street car park and Fryer Street car park. These are all within 100yds of the venue.
